For the most part, standalone navigators have retained their same form factor for the better part of the last five years.   1. Purchased the Garmin 3790T four days ago for just 418$ from http://amzn.to/dfuDNA and I must say it is by far the best GPS I have owned. I have owned Garmins, TomToms, Navigons, and Magellans.
    This unit is, hands-down, the most beautiful PND I have ever seen.
    The display is super crisp and bright. Even in bright sunlight.
    The voice command is great no remote needed and the extra speaker really helps to easily hear it above the diesel engine of my truck.
